Since the shop closed in March 2020, one of the trustees, Michael Donlan has been seeking sponsorship to climb the 214 'Wainwright fells' in the Lake District.
He climbed his final Wainwright on the 11th October 2021

Our Christmas appeal 2020 to provide goats for the poorest Rwandan families was a magnificent success, thanks to your generosity. With gift aid included, we raised over £2,000 which will provide 70 goats. Goats are highly valued in Rwanda as they cost nothing to keep as they will eat anything and at the same time provide a rich source of food protein – milk and other dairy products. They are also used for breeding and at the end of their lives provide meat and goatskins which are used to make other useful products.
