Camino Sponsored Cycle Ride Latest
Mark Ibison & his brother John have now set off on their sponsored ride to Santiago De Compostela. We will keep up to date with their progress here.
This is their starting point, St Jean Pied de Port, in the French Pyrenees
Mark says: "It’s our 4th day and
proving a challenge to say the least! Resting up in Logrono tonight after a
real struggle the first 3 days - heat and hills, then more heat and hills...
Today has been a
recovery day... Further progress
depends on the weather cooling but we’ll make Santiago one way or another!"
(NB according to BBC news this morning the current extreme heat wave is the hottest ever recordeed in France and Spain this early in the year)
